PictureShow Help
Go to http://www.pictureshowtour.com, enter your login name and password in the spaces provided then click the login button. If you do not remember your login name or password, please call 336-587-8438 for further assistance.
To Create a New PictureShow simply login to your Control Panel and click the link “Add a new PictureShow”. This will display the following screen...
Enter the Property MLS, Street Address, City and Price of the listing you
want to create a PictureShow Tour for. All this information is optional, so if
you do not want particular information to appear on your PictureShow, just don't
enter it. With regards to price, entering "0" (without quotes) will cause the
price not to appear in your PictureShow. After entering the information desired
on this screen click the long button titled “Add listing to my PictureShow
Inventory”. Click the link on the next screen to go back to your Inventory list
on the Control Panel.
You will now have a blank PictureShow for that listing in your Control Panel.
To add pictures and text to a PictureShow, you must first get to the edit page for that PictureShow. To do this, click on the "edit" link corresponding to the PictureShow for which you would like to edit. This will lead you to the edit page for that particular PictureShow.
If this is a brand new PictureShow and you haven't yet added pictures to it, the picture placeholders will read "No image uploaded for this slide". Notice that there are menu items in the toolbar at the top as well as beside each picture placeholder. Some of the menu items in on the toolbar are duplicated beside the picture placeholders for your convenience.
Adding Images: To add several images at one time to your PictureShow, click on any of the links that read "Upload multiple pics". A popup window will appear similar to the one shown below.
Now for each corresponding picture you would like to enter, click the browse button and choose the picture from your computer. When you are done, scroll all the way down and click the "Upload selection to server" button. Once the images are completely uploaded, you will see a confirmation message on this window. Follow the instructions given to return to your PictureShow Edit page. Your uploaded pictures should now appear in the corresponding placeholders.
You may also upload pictures one at a time by clicking on the "Update Picture" beside the corresponding Picture label.
Important note. A photo will not appear in the PictureShow if there is not a Room Name assigned to it!
Adding Text: Adding text is really easy. Just click on the "Update Text" link corresponding to the picture that you would like to describe and enter your desired text in the Room Name and Room Description fields.
In order to start the process of posting your PictureShow to the MLS or to other websites you must first know the hyperlink or url of your PictureShow. To find this information, while on the edit screen for your PictureShow, click on the "PictureShow Links" hyperlink on the toolbar or on the menu bar beside any of the image placeholders. A popup window containing your PictureShow link information will appear similar to below:
The BOLD text is a hyperlink to your PictureShow. If you edit your own MLS listings, you can Copy and Paste this link to the MLS as a virtual tour. If someone else edits your MLS listings for you (eg. the office manager) copy and paste the link to an email message and send it to them asking them to post this link as a virtual tour to your listing in the MLS. If you have a website, you can send the hyperlink to your Webmaster for integration into your website.
Initially a new PictureShow is set to be able to display up to 10 images. however you can increase this limit to up to 50 images for any PictureShow you desire. While on the edit screen for your PictureShow, click on the "raise image limit" hyperlink as shown below:
Click the button on the popup window that follows and you will increase the image limit of this PictureShow by 4.
